League President Don LaValley will be announcing the players selected to All-League for the 2021 season. These players will be recognized at the Spring banquet (3/3/2022).

Open Positions
The League will be looking to fill two positions this year:
Vice President:
The Vice President shall: (a) assist the President and perform such duties as the President may from time to time delegate to him/her; and (b) in the absence of the President, perform his/her duties and functions except those that the Commissioner performs for the President.
Webmaster:
The Webmaster shall update the website daily to keep the League updated on all games. He shall also provide the information to all media that require or desire it. Each team shall be required to supply game information that will be required by the Webmaster. A game report form (electronic) will be provided to each team to follow. (b) The Webmaster will be compensated at a rate determined by the Board of Governors.

Inter-League Play
The Board of Governors will again be discussing a limited inter-league play schedule for the 2022 season. Please provide any comments in the thread below.
Bylaw Committee
If you are interested in joining the committee which will be responsible for updating the bylaws (last done in 2018), please email Don, or Eric, or reply in the below thread.
* This committee will serve for making recommendations to the Board of Governors regarding changes and modifications to the bylaws.
New Teams - Applying
Any party interested in petitioning to join the Tri-County League must follow the criteria as set forth in the bylaws:
2-3.01 – Team Entry Request. (a) Any new team requesting entry to the League will present in writing such an application to the League President prior to the annual league meeting. (b) A presentation will be made to all Board of Governors at the annual league meeting. (c) See Bylaws Article 4 on page 3 (d) See Appendix 4A which has guidelines for new teams
APPENDIX 4A – TEAM/SPONSOR APPLICATION TEAM/SPONSOR APPLICATION INTO THE LEAGUE Follow the instructions to make an application for entry into the League.
A. Should a team or sponsor wish to enter the league as a new or additional entry, a written request to do so shall be sent to the President. Upon receipt of the request, the President shall either present the request before the team representatives at a regular league meeting or poll the team representative by telephone or correspondence to determine if the league would be willing to add a team or teams.
B. Should the team representatives decide to entertain the request for entry, a meeting shall be called, at which time a representative of the proposed new entry shall make a presentation to a quorum of the team representatives. Such a presentation shall include
1. The name of the committed sponsor of the proposed new entry.
2. The name and baseball background of the coach of the proposed new entry.
3. The locations(s) of the playing field(s) the team would use, the playing condition of the field(s) and the planned maintenance of the field(s).
4. The name, addresses and phone numbers of the players of the teams proposed roster.
5. The uniform style and color(s) the team wishers to wear.
6. All other pertinent information, including finances. C. Following the presentation, the team representative shall discuss and vote on whether to allow the applicant into the league. The decision shall be made by a majority vote. In the event of a tie vote, a second vote will be taken by the team representatives. Should a second tie occur, the President shall cast a vote to break the tie. D. The Board of Governors will decide on an application fee for new teams on an annual basis. If the team’s application is declined the entire fee will be refunded.
Wooden Bat Discussion
The League would like to open a discussion regarding the viability of returning to a wooden-bat format.
Please submit your comments in the thread. They will be collected and reviewed by the League's Executive Board.
College Intern Position
The League will be looking to host at least one college intern for the upcoming season. This will be a good opportunity for a Communications or Business major, looking to gain critical experience. Please email Don, or Eric if you have a candidate in mind.
