Standings at the Break

All Teams In Action!

As the calendar turned to July, on a beautiful summer's eve, all the Tri-County teams were in action on Friday night.

At Szot Park, defending champs PeoplesBank outslugged the host Tigers 12-8. Jimmy Flahive gets the win, while former Banker DJ LaValley suffers the loss. Peoples improves to 10-2, while the Tigers drop to 9-5.

In an old-fashioned pitcher's duel, BankESB shutout host St. Joseph's 1-0 in Palmer. St. Joe's could use some divine intervention; losing the last three games by a run in each contest. Bank improves to a league-leading 11-4, while St' Joe's starts the month at 3-9.

At South Hadley High School, the Longmeadow Cardinals held on to beat Pa'Lante, 8-7. The win puts the Cards in sole possession of fourth place.

DiFranco Realty traveled to Herlihy Field and beat host Teddy Bear Pools 8-3. Derion Rosado tossed a complete game, with 7 K's and 2 earned. Former Elms ace Tommy Weldon took the loss, having to leave the game after 5 innings with a blister. The teams will match up again on July 9th.
