Teddy Bear Pools Nabs Close 2-1 Win Over Parody Builders in Low-Scoring Affair

HOLYOKE, MA – July 21, 2025 – In a tightly contested battle at Holyoke Community College yesterday night, Teddy Bear Pools and Spas CF managed to pull out a narrow 2-1 victory over Parody Builders TFAC. The game was a classic pitchers' duel, with both teams finding offense to be a challenge.

For Teddy Bear Pools, Ryan Magni delivered a strong performance on the mound, pitching a complete game. Magni allowed just one earned run over seven innings, collecting eight strikeouts. On the losing side, Owen Phelps took the decision for Parody Builders.

The decisive moments for Teddy Bear Pools came from both timely hitting and execution. Magni contributed at the plate as well, hitting a double and later scoring a run. In the bottom of the seventh inning, Harley Kagan stepped up with a double, setting the stage for the go-ahead score. It was Sean Rosemond who then brought Kagan home with a sacrifice fly, securing what would be the winning run.

This hard-fought contest ultimately came down to late-inning opportunities, with Teddy Bear Pools and Spas CF successfully capitalizing to clinch the victory.

Teddy Bear will now go on to play reinging champs PeoplesBank on Wednesday night at Mackenzie.
