PeoplesBank Dominates Saints in Early Offensive Explosion - Take 1-0 Series Lead

Peoplesbank absolutely erupted at Mackenzie Stadium yesterday, hanging a resounding 10-0 shutout on the St. Joseph's Saints. The game was effectively decided in the very first inning, as the Bankers stormed out of the gate with a seven-run outburst that left the Saints reeling. It was a clinic in early offense, showcasing Peoplesbank's powerful bats right from the jump. St. Joe's pitcher Feltovic certainly faced an uphill battle from the first pitch, as the Bankers simply couldn't be contained.

This offensive onslaught was spearheaded by Clark, who was an absolute terror at the plate with two hits and four RBIs, including a monstrous three-run homer in that pivotal first inning. Not to be outdone, Seth Allen and Kyle Platner each chipped in with two hits and two RBIs apiece, while Johnny Gegetskas added an RBI single, demonstrating the depth of PeoplesBank's lineup. 

On the pitching side, Jimmy Flahive was nearly unhittable, cruising through five innings, allowing just one hit and striking out two for the win. And if the hitting wasn't enough, Pete Hogan was a vacuum behind the plate, throwing out three potential base stealers, shutting down any flicker of hope for the Saints. This was a complete performance by Peoplesbank, a true statement win.

The Series resumes tonight at St. Joseph's Park in Palmer, with a 7:30 first pitch.
